Through this 'disconnectedness', it paradoxically emphasizes the importance of true connection.

  The approach of constantly seeking new sounds for the instrument, rather than a finished product, gave the performer a great deal of freedom and responsibility. In the process of ‘dialoguing’ with the piano and listening to the ‘voices’ of the instruments, similarities with Indonesian gamelan music were also discovered. By accepting the flexibility and diversity of pitches, I found possibilities for performances that bring out each instrument's individuality, reaffirming the importance of diversity in musical culture.

The unexpected combination of meaningless Japanese lyrics, multiple microtonal tunings, and a pianist singing paradoxically created a deep connection with the audience, demonstrating the possibility of pure expressive energy reaching directly beyond technique and expertise.

  Through the technique of head resonance, I experienced not only improvement in vocal technique but also liberation from psychological limitations. This process resonated with the Buddhist concept of "no-self", allowing for richer expression by moving away from the concept of a fixed "self". Being freed from technical limitations and self-criticism became an experience of expressing the essence of music more directly and connecting deeply with the audience.
